my favorite toy as a kid was g.i. joe F-14 “sky striker” — a plane that i, literally, loved to pieces.

just on a whim, i ebay’ed “sky striker” about two weeks ago, and found out not only are they for sale, but hasbro has re-released the sky striker on it’s 30th anniversary. it’s on sale at amazon for $34.

so, now, The Mighty Quinn is the proud owner of a sky striker, though he’s going to have to fight with daddy for the right to take it down off the ceiling and play with it.
