that said, in an eight day trip, it really only effected our plans once — and even then it probably shouldn’t have. (only one day did it thunder, but it was so distant that we probably could have swum if we wanted to.) we made sure it was going to be nice before we did the national park, but other than that we didn’t even really have to schedule around it.

plus — rainy season meant WAY less people, which seems like a completely fair price to pay.
