with my beloved wife still recovering from an emergency root canal (don’t ask) and me recovering from some mysterious plague that knocked me on my butt for two days, we kind of missed new year’s eve. and by “missed” i mean that we were both in by 9:45pm, although i actually got to see the clock tick over at midnight when the mighty quinn decided to get up and celebrate.

so we took another shot at it tonight, with dinner at Central Michel Richard followed by drinks and bad college football. and we both stayed up until at least 11:15pm.

sparklet is obviously missing music class, because she is now randomly corralling all the people in the house, guests included, distributing musical instruments, and forcing us to “play” along to the music from whatever loud, overbearing, sing-along-toy she has within reach. oh, and to the same four songs over and over. it’s fun. i promise. come visit whenever you like.
