the vermont parkers are in town this weekend, for a heavy weekend of cousin bonding — and for their first real trip to D.C. since sparklet was in the breadloaf stage. she should be a much more interesting companion this time around.

i missed the first sonogram, so i’m glad i was there for the second. i’m almost convinced this whole thing is actually happening now. mostly.

i’ve never been to storytime at the library, but it seems like a toddlin’ place, and the nanny, sparket, and el español caliente come here every tuesday morning.

(it helps that the library is three blocks from our house.)

i’ve heard rumors, but can neither confirm nor deny, that sparklet’s favorite activity is banging on the computers — which, ironically, is exactly the same reason why it’s taken me over 10 minutes to write this post.

she’s really good with the backspace key.
