she’s memorized brown bear, brown bear by eric carle, and can parrot the whole thing, front to back. she yells out the various animals and here’s to you! by david elliott, and she will call out random words from whatever else we’re reading — the protagonist’s name from madeline, “aaaaaachhooo!” from bear snores on, and the “beep, beep, beeps” from little blue truck.
